A little about me...

4.5.png

I became a student of Acupuncture & TCM because of the benefits I experienced through receiving treatments. I'd struggled with imbalanced hormones and metabolism (PCOS), allergies, mood-swings, stress, anxiety and poor sleep for years. After my first treatment I slept beautifuly and walked away more relaxed than I had ever been. A couple treatments later I began to see the other issues improve, and saw drastic changes about 8 treatments in. I was amazed. The more I learned about the imbalances in my body, and acupuncture's ability to harmonize and heal, the more I felt this would not only be something I'd like to receive but also become a practitioner and share this modality with others.

I obtained my three year Diploma of Acupuncture at the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine and began my private practice in 2020. My interest in holistic health care has roots in my work as a Birth Doula, where I came to understand the unique needs in maternal health. My heart is to support women in regulating menstruation, optimizing fertility, supporting pregnancy care, improving birth outcomes, postpartum recovery and caring for the mother.

In addition to this specialty I also have had success in treating conditions such as pain, muscle spasms, sciatica, depression, anxiety, digestive issues, headaches, sleep difficulties, and low energy levels. Acupuncture can help treat the root cause of an illness by balancing the body’s energy and activating its natural immune and repair responses. In addition to acupuncture, I offer nutritional and herbal counselling and lifestyle changes to support your healing.

I always wanted a career that didn't feel like "work", rather more like an expression of who I am and how I already live. Acupuncture and TCM has allowed me to do just that.
